General blurb and soppiness..

We survived the typhoon although the 10+ hours without electricity weren`t very much fun, especially as our friends who live about 5 minutes down the road had electricity! It was just WAY too hot and boring without the A/C and the TV! LOL! Joey had fun though because he had the full attention of both Mummy and Daddy for a change! ;-) (Although D slept through most of it but still...) Speaking of my mini Mr T, he is making me laugh alot lately with his sleeping habits. He has started kicking me alot during the night which is not so much fun but I keep finding him in realy random positions. This morning he had managed to twist himself round so his head was near my thigh and his feet were off the edge of the futon! Very cute! I took him to baby massage class yesterday at the clinic that I gave birth at and it was alot of fun. He is SO much bigger than other babies his age and I might be being one of those oyabakas (a parent who is overly proud of their baby when really there is nothing to be proud of!) but he is quite alot more advanced than some of them too. We were sitting next to the woman who shared a room with us when we were in hospital and Joey was leaps and bounds ahead of her son in the developmental stages. I will stop being an oyabaka now but he is just so cute that it is really hard not to! LOL!

Otsukare for the typhoon! We still haven't had much cyclone action here in Ibaraki - maybe for the best...?

And yes you do have a lot to be proud of! You have done a lot of hard work to get to where you are now, and you should not lose sight of it amidst the daily rush. Be a little oyabaka if you want!!!
