Quiet weekend...

The good news is that Joey seems to be ok with hanging out with D again! (as you can see from the picture of them being plonkers!!!) He took him to the supermarket on friday night (their first trip out on their own together!) and it sounds like they had fun and they both came back in one piece so it is all good!! I think I will be sending them out together on more errands because I have been getting so over-tired. Joey still isn`t sleeping through the night and having my sleep disturbed constantly is a bit of a nightmare. He has got a cough again so we are off to the doctor`s in about half and hour. Last time he gave us medecine and it worked so hopefully he will get better. I have found that leaving the humidifier on overnight helps alot, as does the Baby rub that a very kind friend sent from American before Joey was born. Other than the cough though, he is doing well, even though the separation anxiety is driving me a little bit insane!! I probably wouldn`t mind it so much if I wasn`t so tired I guess!! Yesterday we went for a walk into town. You can get from our apartment to tenmonkan (the centre of Kagoshima city) in about 20 minutes and as it was a sunny day we decided to make the trek. It really was lovely and I wished I had taken my camera with me. It is amazing how much cool stuff you miss out on by driving everywhere!! Here is Joey all ready to go out:

In this picture he is modelling a fleece from Aunty Jenn, a blanket from Aunty Kristin and a very sexy hat that used to belong to another friend`s son!

I'm glad you can have some Midori-time when D goes out with J! You can pencil in some babysitting from Aunty Jenn for Feb. 18 if it fits with your schedule!
