"Hare no otoko" my arse!!
My husband is always telling me that he is a "hare no otoko" which translates as "guy who brings good weather." I have always thought it was bollocks and this week I have had further proof.. for the 2.5 weeks that I was in the UK before he got here we had GORGEOUS weather. Hot and sunny every day and although it was a little bit too hot for a country without lots of air-conditioning, I was enjoying it after the horrendous rain and crappy weather we had in Kagoshima before I left. Daisuke arrived on sunday and since then we have not had one single nice sunny and hot day! I am not impressed but I guess that is English weather for you. However, I will never ever listen to him claim that he brings good weather wherever he goes ever again!!! ;-)
I have had a good week though, having an extra pair of hands has been good with the ongoing battle I have at the moment with trying to stop Joey from touching things he isn't supposed to be touching. I am sure one day soon he will respond to "no" and "don't touch" and "stop it" with action rather than a cheeky grin but it is driving me a bit batty at the moment!!
On a sad note, we now only have 10 days until we leave london. I don't want to go!! I know I have alot of good things and friends waiting for me in Kagoshima but it is going to be so hard to say goodbye to my parents this time around!

here from Michele's. You're privileged to be able to live in Japan, I traveled there for 3 weeks when I graduated from college, and had a blast.
Hello, Michele sent me.
Yes, I've been hearing about the crazy weather in the UK. We've been having our hot spells here in Toronto as well.
Enjoy the rest of your holidays..
hehe the touch everything that you are not suppose to stage does not last forever, no matter how much it feels like it does right now.
I hope you enjoy your last ten days. I know how hard it is to leave your family in another country.
I so have enjoyed connecting with someone else that understands how hard it is to be so far from family and friends. Your son is adorable and I adore reading your adventures! Much blog love :)
Hello from Michele's Meet and Greet.
Liked your photos and hope that you enjoy good weather when you return to Japan
