Having a down day..

I am having one of those days when I am wondering why I came back to Kagoshima so early when I could have stayed in London for another week or so because most of my students (who when I planned my trip originally said they would start classes as soon as I got back) have cancelled their classes until next week! This not only irritates me because of the money I lose out on, it annoys me because I could have stayed with my parents for a little while longer instead of being cooped up in our apartment because it is WAY too hot to go outside at the moment!!! I wanted to take Joey to the beach today but the weather has been kind of unpredictable so I didn`t want to risk getting caught in the rain/ a lightning storm!! Yesterday was a fun day. My students from Aira came over and we went textbook shopping and then had lunch at Amu Plaza. Joey really enjoyed having the older girls around to "look after" him and it was nice to just hang out with them all in a non-lesson context!(not that our lessons are overly formal!) There is more family drama going on in London at the moment with my Mum and brother and his fiancee but I don`t have the energy to write about it right now!!! I think I might go and join Joey in his nap on the sofa! I don`t know what it is about this weather but I am tired ALL the time at the moment!

the last time I was REALLY tired... was about 5 years ago....

but in this heat, it`s easy to just wear out and take breaks on the sofa......

I`m over the jet lag, but still waking up very refreshed and AWAKE at about 5:30 in the a.m.... a nice time to get up and get going.

take it easy and just enjoy hanging out, you can get into energy mode next week when you start teaching again.

That was really rude of your students to cancel but what can you do:-(

Once your usual routine is back,I am sure things will start looking up.And once this heat goes,we will all be ready to tap dance!

It may be a blessing a little that they canceled, so you can rest and recover from the trip?!

Rest and relax ... I get down when trapped in the house do to weather too!

Hope you allowed yourself the nap.

Sometimes we have to listen to what our bodies are telling us.

I'm sorry you're having a bad time of it now, but think of all the fun times we'll have on Sunday! You couldn't have that in England, could you?
