Something in the water?!?
So I am officially out of my rut and feeling better about life in general. I got soaked taking Joey to daycare today and I have a terrible headache this afternoon but other than that life is good!! We might be going to Kanoya this weekend and will hopefully get to go out for the night with some of our friends who are living there now.
One thing that has put me in a great mood is all the people around me who are expecting babies at the moment. I might not have any desire to be pregnant again any time soon but I do love hearing about other people`s happy news. The woman upstairs is expecting a baby around Valentine`s Day, my friend Jenn is expecting a little boy on February 20th (although the due date seems to change every week because of her son`s large head! LOL!) and today my student (who is 41) told me that she is expecting a baby at the beginning of March. All I need now is for my close Japanese friend in Kanoya and the lady next door (who has been trying for almost 10 years) to get pregnant and I will be a happy lady!!!
On a totally unrelated topic, Daisuke and I celebrate 4 years since our 1st date next Friday. It is hard to believe it has only been 4 years and it has been a crazy whirlwind. My husband is not my favourite person in the world at the moment but I think that is partly because we have been so caught up in the business of being parents and responsible adults that we have started to forget the fun stuff that got us together in the first place. Soooo.. I have enlisted my MIL to come and watch Joey on Friday evening.. we don`t have huge amounts of money to spend but I am looking for slightly inspired ways of spending our evening!? All suggestions welcome!!!
( I should add that all-nighters are not an option as I am not willing to leave Joey with my MIL for that long...)

You sound like me - I love hearing about friends, neighbours etc., expecting! There is something about going down that pregnancy road that links us all together...
Here via Michele today.
I have no suggestions either, Midori, since I am not familiar with your area. But an evening away might be just what you need to rekindle the sparks. I hope it works. MIchele sent me.
P.S. Your boy is darling.
I am so glad the funk appears to have lifted!!!
Since I am one of those people that makes people happy by being pregnant ... YAY!
Make sure whatever you do on your night out, that you can talk and rekindle that romance (movies can't talk so much!)
