Time to get the ark?

It has been POURING with rain for the past couple of days. I don`t mean little showers, I mean FULL ON monsoon rain. This will make my good friend illahee up in Fukuoka very happy as she is hoping the rain will kill off all the scary hornets that keep terrorising her and I have to say that sitting inside typing this while listening to the rhythmic sound of rain is quite therapeutic. Sadly, my joy stops there because I have the leave the house in half and hour and as we all know by now, I have an underground parking space which involves me pushing a button and waiting for my car to come out, then I drive my car out of the space and press the button again so the parking space goes back underground. One day I will take pictures and show you all! It is quite ingenious but a real pain in the butt on days like today when the rain is coming down in sheets and even with an umbrella, I am going to get soaked! I have a thing about having wet feet/ socks. If my feet and/ or socks are wet then I instantly get cranky and remain that way until I dry off!! On the bright side, raining season might be over soon which will make me very happy! AND on another bright side, it is only TWO WEEKS until I leave Kagoshima to go to fukuoka and only TWO WEEKS and TWO DAYS until we touch down in the UK!!! I am starting to get VERY excited!!!

How exciting! You must be thrilled that some vacation time is coming up. Think of us in humid Kyushu while you're away! :)

I hope your rainy season is MUCH shorter than Okinawa`s this year. It went on and on and on and on! Have fun at home. :)
