Question of the day...

If your husband went out on a saturday night (bearing in mind he has been an unhelpful arsehole all week and you have a bad back and a very active 18 month old) and didn`t come home until 6am, would you be allowing him to sleep in or would you insist he woke up because coming home that late is just totally irresponsible when you are a parent?! (Note: Had he come home at a remotely decent hour I would probably be more forgiving but 6am is just crazy...)

I think my answer would be that I'd have to know why he was out until 6am. That is suspicious behavior for a married man. If his car broke down and he couldn't get home - that is one thing. If he was at a bar or playing poker or something - I'd wake his butt up fast!

Michele sent me.

He was out drinking with the other teachers at his school. When quizzed as to who he was with, it was all the single guys. I am guessing all the other wives keep their husbands in check better than I do!!

There's no way I'd let him lie in!!

Let him sleep late? Hell, he's lucky you let him sleep in the house! He owes you, big time.

Well, I would not be happy about that at all! And has he shared how come he didn't come home till 6am???
I would need to know that too!

Not fair to you or your child for him to act like he does not have a wife and child...UNLESS there was a really good reason that he was out till then....

Here from Michele tonight....!
Hope you get it all worked out.

I'm the one who has (had) a tendency to come rolling in at 6am, and my hubby is quite kind to me then.

OTOH, I think you should send a marching band through the house to wake your husband up!

I think I`m coming in way too late but I hope you woke his a!$ up and took off for the day by yourself!! (Insert Fish-bonking smiley here).

My husband has done that, repeatedly. I make as much noise and disturb him as much as I possibly can. And I send the kids in to pester him.

I say boys will be boys. Go easy on the man.

I'm a bit late at answering as well, but I'd say...wake his butt up!
